Max Verstappen will start the Austrian Grand Prix from pole position after a rock-solid performance in qualifying. The Dutchman was four tenths faster than his main rival, Lando Norris. George Russell will start third. We take you through the provisional grid for the Austrian GP.

Behind Russell, Carlos Sainz and Russell's teammate, Lewis Hamilton, will start from fourth and fifth positions respectively. Leclerc and Piastri could not hold their own during qualifying, coming no further than P6 and P7.

Perez continues to struggle

Behind them, we find Sergio Perez back on the grid. The Mexican struggled again with his Red Bull car and he thus did not get beyond place eight. Perez conceded as many as eight tenths to his teammate, Max Verstappen.

Completing the top-10 of the starting grid were Haas' Nico Hülkenberg and Alpine's Esteban Ocon. They produced a positive performance by qualifying ninth and 10th. The Austrian Grand Prix will start at 15:00 on Sunday local time. See the complete grid below.
