While almost everyone who follows Formula 1 has taken a close look at the crash between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, this is not the case for Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur. The Frenchman is, therefore, not yet giving judgement on the incident.

The crash caused a lot of commotion. In Britain, the media blamed Verstappen for the accident. Many comparisons are being made to 2021, where the Dutchman collided several times with Lewis Hamilton.

The incident also created a very different podium. George Russell was in first place immediately, followed by Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz.

So for Ferrari, the crash was good for points. Despite that, Vasseur has not really been able to draw a verdict on the incident yet: "First, when I'm on the pit wall, I just have the layout of the track with dots and I don't watch the video and the TV. It means that I have the quick replay after the race. Let me have a look. You will have, thousands of times to ask the question in Silverstone. But honestly, I think it's an incident now to see if the responsibility is on Max, on Lando or whatever. Let me have a look first before I make any comment."
