Max Verstappen has received considerable criticism after he crashed with Lando Norris at the Red Bull Ring. Former world champion Damon Hill is critical about the Dutchman's actions.

Andrea Stella, McLaren's team boss, was highly critical of Verstappen. He argued that the entire world population could see who was responsible for the crash and that it was the Dutchman. He also stressed that if actions like that of the three-time world champion are not addressed, incidents like this will occur.

Stella was not the only one to have a negative opinion of Verstappen's actions. Martin Brundle also said he thinks Verstappen had to take the blame for the accident. He also questioned whether there would be any joint plane trips, dinners and games between Verstappen and Norris after the incident.

Hill shares Stella's opinion

Hill agrees with Stella and Brundle's reactions, the 1996 world champion told X via a post: "Ah! I recognise that sound. It's the sound of reason and respect. Well done AS who echoed almost exactly what MB (Martin Brundle) said. But we've been here before. Nothing will change. Some people just don't get it. Good race though!"
