Pierre Gasly causes red flag during FP3 on wet track at Silverstone
- Estéban den Toom
Pierre Gasly caused a red flag with his Alpine during the third free practice session for the British Grand Prix. The rear of the Frenchman's car completely skidded at once, sending the number-31 driver off the track. He stalled in the gravel, and the car had to be hauled away.
Gasly sees his Alpine towed away after ten minutes in the practice session and walks back to the pit lane. Max Verstappen also had quite a moment in the first minutes of the final practice session. He too lost the rear of his car, forcing a 360 with his RB20.
