Where qualifying will be held on Saturday afternoon, the match between the Dutch team and Turkey at the European Championships will be played later in the day. Max Verstappen is going to watch this race at the home of his team boss, Christian Horner, he said on Saturday to Viaplay.

The Dutch team will play the quarter-finals at the European Championships in Germany on Saturday night. Earlier in the day, the match between England and Switzerland will also be played. The winner of this game could be the Dutch's opponent in the semi-finals, should they win against Turkey.

Verstappen on Netherlands-Turkey

Verstappen is, of course, driving the Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit this weekend. This will not stop him from watching the Netherlands-Turkey match. The Dutchman is therefore confident about the Dutch team: "I want to see victory, of course. Yes, of course, you go for that, right?"

When Verstappen was asked if he will watch the match in the motorhome, he replied, "We always have dinner at Christian [Horner's] house on Saturday night [with the British Grand Prix]. So we will also watch the race there."

The race between Britain and Switzerland will then also be watched. "Yes, a bit earlier in the day," Verstappen told us. "So it might be a grave mood. But I will be wearing my orange T-shirt."
