Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll must report to the stewards. Both Aston Martin drivers must provide explanations to the FIA over two different incidents that occurred during qualifying for the British Grand Prix.

Alonso and Stroll to stewards at Silverstone

Alonso has to come to the stewards' office for allegedly working on his Formula 1 car while he was in the fast lane (the road towards the pits exit). This is only allowed when a car is parked in front of or in his F1 team's garage.

For his part, Stroll has to report for an incident of a completely different nature: the Canadian is said to have driven through the red light at the end of the pit lane, thus entering the track when it was not allowed.

What was the verdict?

Alonso and Stroll were not penalised by stewards at Silverstone. The stewards decided not to hand out penalties for the incidents. Stroll will, however, receive a reprimand. This is because it is the driver's responsibility to follow race control instructions, but at the same time the stewards acknowledge that Stroll had little time to react and that it did not benefit him. Alonso was not to blame and so the Spaniard was not penalised either.
