If the main race in Formula 3 is a harbinger for later in the day, Formula 1 awaits an exciting British Grand Prix. In treacherous conditions, there were plenty of crashes, but on top of that, there were exciting battles. In the end, it was Callum Voisin who crossed the line first after an intense battle, but he had a ten-second time penalty. As a result, it was Arvid Lindblad (16) who also won the feature race, just like the sprint a day earlier. Gabriele Mini was second, ahead of Voisin who had enough margin for P3.

Wet tyres or slicks after all? That was the big question prior to the race. With the rain falling early in the race, the rain tyre proved to be the right choice, although even it could not prevent the necessary incidents. On the increasingly wet track, things already went wrong in the early stages: Dino Beganovic and Sophia Floersch collided, stranding the latter's car.

After a necessary safety car, the track had become even wetter and things went all wrong again. Dufek and Sztuka collided, causing a chain reaction further down the track. Montoya was then unable to avoid Alex Dunne, after which both drivers crashed hard into the wall. As a result, the safety car had to re-enter the circuit.

Marko will be pleased with Lindblad

After the race was released again, a great battle unfolded, both at the front and in the midfield. Arvid Lindblad ultimately proved the strongest, making him an even more emphatic candidate for the title. No doubt Helmut Marko will have watched with satisfaction as the Red Bull Junior once again convinced as a rookie in a field of often older and more experienced drivers.
