Variable weather conditions made the British Grand Prix particularly exciting. The race leader changed several times and at the end of the race Max Verstappen came very close to a victory. Who is your GPblog Driver of the Day at Silverstone?

George Russell started the Grand Prix at Silverstone from pole position. Unfortunately, the Briton was unable to finish the race due to problems. In contrast, his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, won another Grand Prix for the first time since 2021.

Both McLaren drivers also seemed very fast. Especially when it rained, both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri dared to take a lot of risk. Unfortunately, McLaren's strategy was not the most useful this race which meant that big performances for both failed to materialise.

Then, of course, there is Max Verstappen. The Dutchman struggled a lot with his RB20 and seemed to lack a lot of speed. By making the right decisions from both the team and himself, Verstappen eventually finished in second place. Which driver do GPblog readers crown Driver of the Day this time? Vote in the poll below and let us know your opinion in the comments.
