Max Verstappen plans to go to the European Championship final in Berlin, should the Netherlands manage to beat England in the semi-finals. In that case, it will be a busy weekend for the Dutchman, as he is also expected to attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed to celebrate Red Bull Racing's 20th anniversary.

Verstappen to EC final if Netherlands wins

Ahead of the British Grand Prix, the quarter-final between the Netherlands and Turkey was yet to be played. Verstappen watched that match with team boss Christian Horner, who organises an annual dinner prior to the Formula 1 race at Silverstone.

It is now clear that the Netherlands will advance to the semi-finals, where they will meet England. Should the Netherlands be victorious, Verstappen plans to travel to Berlin to watch the final live. "That is the intention," the Dutchman replied when told by Viaplay for confirmation.

The weekend of the European Championship final is in principle a free weekend for Verstappen, but in reality he already has plans scheduled. The triple world champion will make his appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Sergio Perez, Christian Horner and David Coulthard, among others, will also be present in connection with Red Bull Racing's anniversary.
