George Russell doesn't think he 'could rock' teammate Hamilton's outfits
George Russell had to make a tough choice at the British Grand Prix. Would he rather have Toto Wolff narrate the rest of his life or wear Lewis Hamilton's entire wardrobe? Speaking to Channel 4, Russell revealed that he would have to let his team principal narrate his life, as the Brit doesn't think he'd be able to rock' Lewis Hamilton's outfits.
Russell answers the hilarious Would you rather:
The Austrian GP winner was asked by Channel 4 presenter Steve Jones: "Would you rather wear an earpiece where Toto Wolff narrates everything in your life or wear Lewis Hamilton's wardrobe for the rest of your life?"
Russell laughed, before stating that he'd 'have to go' with Toto. "Lewis looks great, but I don't think I'd be able to rock it!" The Mercedes driver said.
Russell on the rise despite dropping out of home GP
Russell retired from his home Grand Prix in Silverstone after starting the race from pole position. The Mercedes driver has enjoyed some great form recently despite his Silverstone retirement. The Brit won his second career Grand Prix in Austria after Max Verstappen and Lando Norris clashed at turn three, and finished on the podium just two races prior in Canada after starting that race from pole. Russell sits on 111 points in the driver's championship, just seven behind Red Bull's Sergio Perez, who has scored just 11 combined points in the last five races.
The Brit may even be hoping to get back to winning ways at the Hungaroring next weekend, a track where he finished sixth last year. In the updated Mercedes W15, Russell will be expecting to be in the fight at the front once again this season.
