Haas have one driver signed for 2025: Oliver Bearman, the American team announced the Ferrari junior back ahead of the British Grand Prix. However, the second seat at the team is still open for now.

With Kevin Magnussen yet to sign a new deal (Nico Hulkenberg will sign for Stake F1 and the soon-to-become Audi team), Haas are still looking to find a second driver on the current market. Haas' team principal, Ayao Komatsu, underlined that getting another inexperienced driver is not an option, after already signing Bearman.

Haas to pair experienced driver up with Bearman

"Especially for a team like us, we cannot have two rookies. So now that we've taken Ollie as a rookie, we will try to appoint somebody who's got decent F1 experience," Komatsu explained.

"We are still pretty much a growing team. We are a relatively new team. And then we are restarting, let's say, and improving our performance," he continued. "Ollie, obviously, is a very talented young driver with a very strong head on his shoulders. And he's very calm, but mature, got the speed, and very much a team player. So the things how we want to progress as a team, that's what I mean by a very perfect match." the Japanese team principal also praised the young Briton.
