Charles Leclerc crashed out of FP2 heavily just 20 minutes into the session. The Monegasque took too much curb at turn 4, causing him to spin off into the barriers.  Leclerc finished FP1 in third place, behind Max Verstappen and Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz who topped the timesheets. It appeared that Leclerc lost the rear going over the kerb, and slammed backwards into the wall. Luckily, the Ferrari driver climbed out of his car safely after the hefty shunt. The medical car was deployed to the incident due to its force. Ferrari has brought a revised floor to Hungary, and Leclerc's moment will add to the recent woes of the Italian team.
