Max Verstappen didn't have a trouble-free start to the second free practice session for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Dutchman reported a problem with his RB20's brakes via the onboard radio.

While Sergio Perez set the tone in the first minutes of FP2 at the Hungaroring with a provisional fastest time, Verstappen needed more time to get going. He reported problems with his brakes and was consequently six-tenths slower than his teammate. "My brakes are not working. They are not biting," the Dutchman told race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase.
Not much later, the problem seemed to be solved. Verstappen made a brief visit to the Red Bull garage, after which he continued on his way and hooked up a decent lap to put him in second place.
