Verstappen uncertain after first runs in Hungary
20 July at 11:53

Max Verstappen was not immediately satisfied with his first runs on the hard tyre. On the team radio, Verstappen revealed that he suffered from understeer in the middle sector. He also did not have very much grip at the rear of his car, which made him hesitant to adjust his front wing.

The first drivers to enter the Hungaroring were Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen. Both drivers came out on the hard tyre and for a while were the only drivers on the track. Not much later, the drivers of Aston Martin and McLaren also followed, although for those teams it remained a single lap, where Perez and Verstappen recorded a time immediately.
