Rain ahead of qualifying in Hungary

Rain falls just before qualifying for Hungarian Grand Prix

Just before the start of qualifying in Hungary, it started raining on and around the track. First it was drops, now the rain is coming down harder. It will ensure that qualifying could just be spectacular.

Ahead of the race weekend in Hungary, it looked to be particularly hot. Saturday was the only day where there was a chance of rain, and that seemed to come true so right before qualifying. At the end of the Formula 2 race, which was won by Richard Verschoor, it was already starting to drip lightly. Now it is raining in Hungary.

The chance of rain during the session is estimated at 80 per cent by the FIA. However, due to the warm temperatures in Hungary, the track may just as well dry up quickly, so drivers will have to quickly change to slicks.
