Bizarre moment in Formula 2: Championship leader Hadjar out late
- Estéban den Toom
Even before the formation lap started for the main race in Formula 2, there was chaos. Championship leader Isack Hadjar, the Red Bull junior, had to start the race from the pit lane as he entered the grid too late. The 19-year-old Frenchman himself was not amused and scolded the team heavily on the board radio.
Hadjar absolutely not happy
"Yes, but man, how do we make this mistake in the first place? How can that happen? Come on!", Hadjar shouted over the board radio during the formation lap, which was followed by some swearing. Hadjar was incidentally allowed to drive the formation lap as normal, but he had to start from the pit state. A strange start to the Formula 2 main race.
