At the Hungaroring on Friday, Oliver Bearman participated in another FP1 session with the Haas F1 team. While Bearman is also continuing to compete in Formula 2, there will be a drought in his F1 schedule, the Briton said in Hungary.

Oliver Bearman is already announced as a Haas F1 driver for the 2025 season. Preparing for his full season with the American team, after driving their car in FP1, the Briton explained what his schedule looks like to GPblog among others. "Next is Mexico so I have a long wait now, it'll be strange to not drive with Haas for a long time but I will still be embedded within the team and learning some more stuff race by race."

The Briton also added he will continue to also work with Ferrari, where he is a junior driver. "With Ferrari, we have a few planned I'm not sure exactly the details but we aim to do at least a few more before the end of the year, which is always really useful." Ahead of the summer break, the youngster will also of course compete in F2's Belgian Grand Prix.

Bearman's takeaway from the Hungaroring

The Briton added another track on the list where he has driven a Formula One car, namely, the Hungaroring. "I think this is quite a specific track where you spend a lot of time in corners, there are not many straights for the tyres to cool down and this was the hottest track that I've ever driven on. So it was really nice to get a read of the balance and how the tyres and car behave in a really hot temperature like this which we should for sure experience a lot more in the future," the Briton explained what he could learn this weekend.
