Horner gives Perez a clear instruction for Belgian GP

Horner has a clear instruction for Perez: 'Then bugger off'

Christian Horner has given Sergio Perez a clear instruction for the Belgian Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing boss sees Perez start from the front row of the grid after recent woes in qualifying.

Perez starts on the front row for the first time since the Chinese Grand Prix in April. In fact, since then, Perez has only started inside the top ten on two occasions. In Belgium, Perez will not be surrounded by Max Verstappen at the start of the race because the Dutchman had to take a penalty for changing his engine.

What is Perez's role in the Belgian Grand Prix?

Horner bumped into Horner during Martin Brundle's grid walk on Sky Sports. Horner sees the fact that Perez is the leading Red Bull car on the grid. "The best thing he can do is take the lead, and then bugger off," Horner said.

Horner also had some instructions for Max Verstappen, who starts from P11. "It will be tough. It won't be like previous years, but we'll give it our best," Horner added. Follow the liveblog on GPblog.com to see how the Belgian Grand Prix unfolds.
