Gasly explains in great detail what Bearman can expect in his first F1 season

After making his F1 debut with Ferrari because of Carlos Sainz's surgery, Oliver Bearman, will drive in Formula 1 for the Haas team next season. The Briton will drive alongside experienced driver Esteban Ocon. Ocon's current teammate, Pierre Gasly has talked about what the youngster could expect the following season when he has to go head-to-head against the more experienced Frenchman.
"I think as a driver it's very clear what you've got to do in Formula 1, it's all about speed," Gasly began telling GPblog and others . "Obviously Ollie is going to come as a rookie in Formula 1 so there's no experience in the challenge of F1, it comes with different challenges which you may not face earlier in your career so all of a sudden you've got 24 races," Gasly answered how Bearman could beat Ocon once they become teammates in 2025.
"It's a long season, it's more physical, a lot more demanding from a team point of view, you're working with a thousand people all of a sudden you're able to have a real impact on the car development, car pieces, working the simulator, the media exposure," the Frenchman continued, also giving Bearman some advice.
Gasly happy that Ocon is still driving in F1
"He's got to find his feet in this environment, already has some good experience but it's going to be a good benchmark for Ollie to have Esteban [Ocon] next to him," Gasly added.
"I think on a personal side I'm happy to see Esteban still remains in F1 because regardless of our relationship, I think he's definitely a driver worth to be in Formula 1 and part of the 20 best, so I think it's great and I'm happy to see that he'll still be on the grid next year," concluded the one-time Grand Prix winner Gasly.
