Lando Norris shares cute photos from "best day of my life" at McLaren

Lando Norris has claimed he had the 'best day of his life' at the McLaren Technology Centre after a special surprise visit from some of the dogs at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. The British driver shared some of the photos on Instagram after being wowed.

Norris is having his most successful season in his (still relatively short) Formula 1 career. The McLaren driver won his first career Grand Prix and has stood on the podium a further seven times. Only Max Verstappen has had more trips to the podium in 2024. F1 is now on its traditional summer break, meaning everyone has time to reflect and do some other activities.

Norris was told he was getting a visit from some special fans who were surprising him at MTC. It turned out that those friends were some of the dogs current at the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Norris spent time cuddling the dogs and learning about the charity. He even admitted to wanting to take the dogs back to his home in Monaco and getting one himself permanently. He commented on the photo that it was his best day of his life.
