F1 Today Steiner rates Haas signing Bearman, Montoya proud of son

Just a week to go until F1's summer break in the 2024 season ends. Awaiting the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, GPblog spoke to former Haas F1 team principal Guenther Steiner, and Juan Pablo Montoya, together with his son Sebastian. In the world of F1, Jacques Villeneuve was once again outspoken about a couple of current drivers, and once again declared one of them does not deserve a place in the competition.

Talking exclusively to GPblog, both Guenther Steiner and Juan Pablo Montoya together with his son Sebastián answered our questions. The former Haas F1's team principal judges his ex-team's decision to sign Oliver Bearman. According to the Italian, this could be an ideal time to sign a youngster, after he made the choice to sign two experienced drivers, Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg before.

Former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya, and his son Sebastián Montoya talked about the latter's progress in Formula 3, where he competes for Campos Racing this season. Father Montoya said he is proud of Sebastián's development.

Jacques Villeneuve judges more drivers following Ricciardo controversy

Talking to Instantcasino.com, the 1997 world champion called out another driver after his feud with Daniel Ricciardo back at the Canadian Grand Prix. According to Villeneuve, Guanyu Zhou is also undeserving of a seat in the competition.

On driver he praised however was, his compatriot, Lance Stroll, and believes that recently the Canadian has the upper hand compared to his experienced teammate, Fernando Alonso.

Hamilton and Wolff family on hollidays

Lewis Hamilton has continued his holliday in Africa. The seven-time world champion posted from Senegal, and he cannot recommend to visit the country enough. Before F1 returns next weekend in Zandvoort, Toto and Susie Wolff went on a family holliday too.
