In recent days, it was suddenly - for unclear reasons - a topic on social media and in some media: Are Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet still a couple? Verstappen was missing quite often in the photos the Brazilian posted on her Instagram account, to which several followers asked in the comments where was Max?

Rumours of a split were then sparked by several gossip sites after Kelly posted a cryptic post on her social media. 'You can literally feel when it's time to go into the next chapter of your life,' the daughter of Nelson Piquet wrote. Was Kelly thereby be referring to a farewell to Max?

For all doubters, Max and Kelly are still a couple. The proof? A lovely photo showing the lovebirds together, posted by Kelly on her Instagram account. In the caption, she says: "How will we ever top off this unforgettable summer break? When friends become family. See you very soon again." And why Max is not always seen in all of Kelly's photos? Quite simply, Max is not the type to want to be in the limelight. Before he races the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort next weekend, the holiday was his moment to step out of the limelight for a while!
