Helmut Marko described the situation at Red Bull Racing as alarming. Something must be done soon, otherwise both championships will be in jeopardy according to the Austrian. Max Verstappen himself takes a slightly less panicky view of the current state of the Austrian racing team.

At the Dutch Grand Prix, Lando Norris' McLaren proved to be quite a bit faster than Max Verstappen's Red Bull. The Briton secured victory by more than 22 seconds. This ensures that Norris creeps closer to Verstappen in the drivers' championship.

Verstappen also sees an alarming phase at Red Bull

While Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko is very worried about both the drivers' and constructors' championships, Verstappen is less worried. The Dutchman seems to view the situation on a weekend-by-weekend basis. "I think this weekend was just a bad weekend in general," the Dutchman said. "We need to understand that."

Yet Verstappen also recognises that the state Red Bull is currently in is not sustainable for long. "So that, I think, in a sense, was already a bit alarming. But we know that we don't need to panic. We know we are just trying to improve the situation and that's what we are working on. But F1 is very complicated," Verstappen said.
