Jos Verstappen, the father of Max Verstappen, has again expressed his dissatisfaction with the Red Bull Racing team after the Dutch Grand Prix. The team is not performing well and, according to Verstappen senior, this is not being handled well. Former F1 driver Johnny Herbert shares his strong opinion about Jos and the situation at Red Bull.

Jos Verstappen said in the media, among other things, that the Austrian racing stable needs to take a good look in the mirror and that he expects that under Christian Horner 's leadership, the team will not recover. For his part, former F1 driver Johnny Herbert expressed his thoughts on the rally driver in conversation with Poker Apps Ltd.

Herbert expects an even worse battle at Red Bull Racing

''The warmonger has been Jos. He has been very much at the forefront of criticism of the Red Bull set-up and Christian especially,'' Herbert began. The Briton also recognises that the situation at the Austrian racing stable is not optimal.

''Can they promise him enough for the next few years? I'm not so sure about that. I think there is a big question mark over what they can show Max in terms of the direction that will enable him to keep trying to win those world championships,'' Herbert said.

He believes the attitudes of both Verstappens are creating pressure at Red Bull. ''Therefore, and because of the way Jos is, and because of the way Max is, they are probably doubting the position they are in at the moment, because it has gone from downhill very quickly. Very, very quickly.''

Herbert predicts that the situation might get a lot worse. ''In terms of a civil war? Not yet maybe. There is no battle yet. But it is building up. There is definitely a sense of building up inside. There is always a chance of a rupture. There will always be a breaking point because things are not going the way they want.''
