Everything seems to be going wrong for Red Bull Racing in the Italian Grand Prix. After a dramatic qualifying session on Saturday, Max Verstappen had to start from P7. Then things also went wrong at his pit stop.
Frustrated Verstappen hits his steering wheel during Red Bull pit stop
Verstappen and Sergio Perez started on the hard compound. Verstappen's first stop revealed that the Austrian Formula 1 team is going for a two-stop: his RB20 was in fact fitted with new hards. So towards the end, the Dutchman will have to stop again for mediums. At his stop, however, things went completely wrong. At the right rear, his tyre did not go on properly, making it a slow stop of a whopping 6.2 seconds. The three-time world champion banged his steering wheel as he pulled away in frustration and ended up behind Lewis Hamilton and Esteban Ocon.
