At Monza, a number of special performances and records were again broken, with the podiums consisting of Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. GPblog lists them for you.

Leclerc and Ferrari achieve milestones

With his victory in front of the Tifosi, Charles Leclerc became the first Ferrari driver since Michael Schumacher to win twice at Monza. Indeed, the Monegasque previously won in 2019, when he drove his first Italian Grand Prix for Ferrari. He is also the sixth driver in Ferrari's history to win the Formula 1 race at Monza at least two times.

It was another great day for Ferrari. Indeed, Leclerc's victory marked the 20th win for Ferrari at the Monza circuit. This makes the Italian Grand Prix the race won most times by the Italian team.

Norris and McLaren also perform at Monza

McLaren also achieved a fine milestone during the Monza race weekend. Lando Norris' pole position took the team to a total of 160 pole positions. This puts the British team in second place, behind the number one team in those rankings, Ferrari.

Norris' pole position also marked the fifth of his career. This puts the Briton on a par with the likes of Carlos Sainz and former world champions Keke Rosberg and Giuseppe Farina. An extraordinary list for the Briton to be among.
