Alonso frustrates Hamilton and Mercedes in FP1: "No surprise"

Fernando Alonso frustrated Mercedes during the first free practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton thought he would take advantage of a 'tow', but the Aston Martin driver completed another lap, ruining Mercedes and Hamilton's plan.
Lewis Hamilton intended to use the slipstream of his arch-rival, but the 43-year-old Spaniard did not cooperate. Although, according to Toto Wolff - who also briefly responded on the team radio with a "no surprise".

Hamilton:"Of course Alonso is on another lap."
Bonnington: " Yeah Alonso was fast, double-cool, fast, then kept pushing sector one by the looks of it.”
Hamilton: "Yeah."
Bonnington: "Yep."
