14 September at 11:15

Carlos Sainz was not happy with Red Bull driver Sergio Perez's driving during the third free practice session. The Mexican impeted Sainz, who then complained over the team radio about Mexican. The two drivers also clashed during the second free practice in Azerbaijan, but Sainz was at fault then.

Sainz angry with Perez

"****, this was huge, what he just did was crazy," reported a frustrated Sainz on the radio at Ferrari. During FP2, it was the Ferrari driver who impeded the Red Bull driver. Both Sainz and Perez will have to visit  the stewards, and explain to them what happened, as race control indicated that the incident was noted.

Horner reacts to Perez and Sainz incident

"I think we didn't give perhaps Checo the information early enough about Carlos," Horner told Sky Sports after FP3. "It wasn't quite as bad as yesterday's, but it was almost an action replay of yesterday. So I would expect a similar reverse outcome," the team principal said, thus predicting a warning for Perez.

During the second free practice of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the same incident happened, but the other way around. Then Perez was cursing behind the wheel because Sainz did not pull over. Both drivers had to report to the stewards to give their explanations, and a Ferrari driver also received a warning.
