At the Singapore Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will drive with a special livery around the Marina Bay Circuit. Mercedes has opted for a partly green livery for the W15 to honour its partnership with title sponsor Petronas.

The Malaysian oil producer will celebrate its 50th anniversary at the Singapore Grand Prix. However, as Malaysia no longer hosts an F1 race, neighbouring Singapore has been the place chosen to celebrate the anniversary through a special livery. The silver parts of the W15's colour scheme will be replaced by green during the weekend at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

"Our partnership with Petronas is our longest-standing and still going strong. We share a common belief and commitment to innovation and performance. That has enabled us to achieve such incredible success in recent years and PETRONAS has been right at the heart of that," said Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff.

The drivers are also enthusiastic about the special livery. "Since I joined the team in 2013, Petronas have been there every step of the way. They've played such a crucial role in the success that we've enjoyed and have helped power me to six Drivers' World Championships. It's a privilege therefore to celebrate this milestone, and our journey together, at such an important race," said Hamilton. "The livery looks incredible. I can't wait to see it on the car in the garage tomorrow and then to get behind the wheel on Friday."

Russell added: "It's great to celebrate Petronas' 50th anniversary in Singapore and to do so with a special livery. The design looks brilliant and is a fantastic tribute to such a milestone achievement. As Title and Technical Partner, PETRONAS are integral to everything we do on track. It is great to recognise the importance of our relationship at the race closest to their home."
