Red Bull Racing reveal camo F1 Academy livery
Red Bull Racing has just announced a special livery. The Austrian team has unveiled their car featuring camo colours for their F1 Academy team. This is to celebrate the team's 20 years in the sport.
Could Verstappen and Perez have driven with this livery in Singapore?
In 2015, Red Bull created a similar livery for their RB11 - but this never made its debut on the track. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez were also set to drive with a special livery in Singapore this weekend but plans were cancelled due to the extra weight it may have added to the car. For Red Bull, maximising their car to score points is crucial, after McLaren took the top spot in the Constructors following the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Nevertheless, F1 Academy driver Hamda Al Qubaisi will be the first driver to take the new livery out onto the track. "It will be a historic moment for the team to see it on the grid. I've never driven on this circuit before, but I can't think of a better way to celebrate 20 years of Red Bull culture in the sport. years of Red Bull culture in the sport than to race on the famous streets of Singapore in a look I've never seen before," Al Qubaisi revealed.
