McLaren partners with OKX to deliver special livery for Singapore
McLaren become the latest Formula One team to reveal their livery for the Singapore Grand Prix. The British team join Mercedes and VCARB, who will also be running one-off liveries this weekend.
What will the McLaren special livery look like?
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will be found racing around the Marina Bay Street Circuit this weekend in a one-off livery. It features a Legend Reborn design in partnership with OKX. The livery celebrates the MP4 era of McLaren by returning to the classic stripe design, to honour the heritage of the team. The MP4 era was between 1981 and 1996.
Alongside the stripe design, the car features the names of 13 iconic drivers from the era, including Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost and Niki Lauda. This is the second special livery McLaren has ran this year, after racing around Monaco in May with a Senna tribute design.
McLaren's Chief Marketing Officer, Louise McEwen said: “It is fantastic to bring back our third bespoke livery in Singapore with OKX. Legend Reborn is a great way to celebrate and honour our iconic history, in a way that unites fans old and new. Following on from this year’s Senna campaign, this livery further embodies our partnership with OKX as we continue to deliver unique story telling campaigns for McLaren fans and OKX customers globally.”
A nod to history, a step into the future.
