Ricciardo wears telling hat about his future? 'Retired'

Since his (forced) departure from Visa Cash App RB, things have gone extraordinarily quiet around Daniel Ricciardo. Apart from a post on Instagram - where he thanked everyone for his time in F1 - little more has been heard from the Australian. Whether he will return as an active driver in classes other than Formula 1 is therefore unknown. Although Ricciardo seems to be giving a little hint on a friend's Instagram account.

Since he was replaced at VCARB, things have been extraordinarily quiet around Daniel Ricciardo. Apart from posting on Instagram when he thanked everyone who helped him F1, Ricciardo did not make an appearance. It is still unknown whether the Australian driver would continue racing in a different competition, but a little hint could be seen on his friend's Instagram account.

In a story shared by Adam Cianciarulo, Ricciardo could be seen with his trademark smile, with a (telling) cap on his head. It reads: 'I'm retired. Having a good time is my job'.

Has Ricciardo really retired?

A subtle reference about his future? It could seem like that. If the Australian decides to retire from racing, he will already have a job offer on his hand. Red Bull Racing have previously announced that they would like to keep the eigth-time Grand Prix winner at the team as an ambassador, but it is unclear whether Ricciardo would like to have that role.
