Verstappen takes first F1 win since June: 'Finally we are racing again'
Max Verstappen has won his first F1 race since June. The Dutchman drove to victory in an old-fashioned, unchallenged manner, and the Red Bull driver was very pleased with his performance after the race.
"It feels a bit like old times," Verstappen said with a big smile on his face. "I'm very happy with today. If you look at the whole race, Ferrari was also very quick. For us, finally we are racing again. Normally we are always looking back but now we can just do our own race, so we had good pace."
Verstappen also won a sprint race for the fourth time this year. Asked by Guenther Steiner how this came about, Max joked: "Probably because I don't like it. It's always a hectic weekend, to get the car in the right window so there is more pressure on delivering," Verstappen concluded.
