F1 schedule for the Mexican Grand Prix

F1 Mexican Grand Prix schedule: Bizarre quirk to the timetable!

The Formula 1 circus will travel to Mexico for the Mexican Grand Prix weekend. With just five Grands Prix and two sprint races remaining, this weekend will be yet another vital race as the drivers' and constructors' title battles continue to heat up. Lando Norris desperately needs to cut his gap to Max Verstappen as time runs out. Meanwhile, Sergio Perez returns to his home Grand Prix and will be looking to boost Red Bull.

What is the schedule for the Mexican Grand Prix?

The Mexican Grand Prix takes place between October 25 and October 27. Formula 1 used the sprint format last time out in the United States, but will return to the traditional format this weekend. There is a unique quirk to the proceedings. FP2 will last an extra 30 minutes to allow Pirelli time to run some tests for the tyres.

The McLaren driver will be hoping for form similar to the Singapore Grand Prix weekend. Red Bull will be hoping that they can close a 40-point gap in the Constructors' Championship.
