F1 TV guide: The Sky Sports F1 schedule for the Mexican Grand Prix

The 2024 Formula 1 season continues with the Mexican Grand Prix. After the sprint weekend in the United States, F1 returns to the traditional format with a unique twist. There are now just five Grands Prix remaining until the 2024 season concludes. Commentary and coverage will be provided across the entire weekend by Sky Sports, with the timings listed below.

Full Sky Sports Schedule for the Mexican Grand Prix

Sky Sports F1 will broadcast every single session from Mexico City this weekend, starting on Friday, 25 October with the first free practice session. The programme will start at 19:00 UK time, having half an hour of build-up before the hour-long session gets underway at 19:30 UK time. FP2 will take place later on Friday, with the Sky broadcast starting at 22:45 UK time. This session will last 30 minutes longer than normal due to a Pirelli test.

The FP3 broadcast will start at 18:15 UK time on Saturday, 26 October. Qualifying is scheduled for 22:00, and there will be an hour of buildup on Sky Sports.

The F1 drivers will compete in the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday, 27th October. There will be an hour and a half of build-up on Sky Sports F1 for the Grand Prix, starting at 18:30. Lights out for the race will be at 20:00.

How can you watch Sky Sports F1?

Sky Sports F1 is available in the United Kingdom. You can purchase the channel through a package offered by Sky themselves. You can also buy a package which includes Sky Sports F1 on Virgin Media TV. Sky Sports F1 can be added if you are with BT TV. You can also stream Sky Sports F1 online via NOW TV. 

How can you watch the Mexican Grand Prix weekend without Sky Sports F1?

If you are located in the United Kingdom, you can't watch the Mexican Grand Prix without paying for Sky Sports F1. For fans outside of the UK, the Mexican Grand Prix will be shown on F1TV Pro in most countries worldwide. Sky has the rights to broadcast Sky Sports F1 in Germany, Italy and others. ViaPlay has the rights to broadcast F1 in some locations worldwide, including The Netherlands.
