Max Verstappen hits back at criticism from British media on stream

Max Verstappen has taken a dig at his critics in response to the heat the Dutchman has received in the wake of the incident with Lando Norris at the United States Grand Prix. Verstappen expressed what he believes is the problem in a joke during an online stream with his friends.

Lando Norris is trying to eat into Max Verstappen's lead in the F1 World Championship. Norris had to battle Verstappen on track at the United States Grand Prix. The fight determined whether or not Norris could cut the deficit. Ultimately, Norris received a penalty for overtaking Verstappen off the track.

After the exciting battle on track, there was discussion afterwards about Verstappen not receiving a penalty for going off the track himself to defend the position. During a Team Redline livestream, the moment was discussed again. "We have to stick by the rules, just as we do in F1," Verstappen said referring to the sim racing game.

"Just like you did in Cota! Everyone is on about how you didn't get penalised," said one of the other streamers. "I figured out the problem. I have the wrong passport!", Verstappen said in a sarcastic tone. By this, he was referring to the fact that he does not have a British passport.
