27 October at 20:23

Sergio Perez's weekend got a little worse. The Mexican received a five-second penalty for putting his car too far forward on the grid. Perez didn't believe that he had made the mistake.

It was already a dramatic weekend at home for Sergio Perez, but it only got worse at the start of the race. The Mexican started too far forward and was immediately investigated. The Mexican has now received a penalty from the stewards. The penalty is five seconds.

Perez was already informed over the team radio about the investigation that was going on for him. Perez, however, was unaware of any wrongdoing himself. According to him, his start was simply good. That was true, however, Perez's position was the reason for his penalty.
