Qualifying in Brazil has been postponed due to heavy rain at the São Paulo circuit. The start time was moved several times, but the track remained too wet to hold the session on Saturday.

Qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix has been postponed due to hard rain

Qualifying was originally scheduled to start at 18:00 UK time. This time was then immediately pushed back. After that, the time was shifted several times before the decision was made that it was raining too hard and the track remained too wet to qualify on Saturday.

Adding to this, it was a race against the clock, with the sun almost setting and the track still quite wet. So, the FIA decided to cancel the session.

The Grand Prix starting line-up could be decided in two scenarios. If the weather permits, qualifying will be done on Sunday morning before the race.
