Furious Verstappen directs his frustration at race officials
3 November at 11:56

Max Verstappen was furious when he arrived to see the media after qualifying. The Dutchman was eliminated in Q2 after a red flag in the closing seconds for Lance Stroll. Verstappen was frustrated with the fact that the red flag was waved many seconds after the incident.

''"The car hits the wall, it needs to be a straight red. I don't understand why it needs to take 30-40 seconds for a red flag to come out. It's just bullshit. Honestly, I let it go. It's so stupid anyway to talk about. It's ridiculous.'' The Dutchman told Sky Sports.

Verstappen now has a big catch-up job on his hands at the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver qualified 12th but has a five-place grid penalty. Verstappen will now start the race from 17th place.
