Another Norris MISTAKE sends him back further, rival Verstappen in P1
- Cas van de Kleut
Max Verstappen had a top restart after the safety car. The Dutchman passed Esteban Ocon, leaving him in the lead. Meanwhile, Lando Norris dropped back to P7 after locking up at the first corner. McLaren soon asked Oscar Piastri to swap positions with Norris, and the Australian complied.
It was a difficult restart for Lando Norris. His race has quickly turned into a nightmare. His title rival, Max Verstappen, dived down the inside of race leader Esteban Ocon at the first corner. Norris went straight off and took to the run-off to get back on track. Norris has a mountain to climb if he looks to catch Verstappen.
