Max Verstappen stunned the world with his victory in Brazil. The Dutchman drove a bizarre catch-up race, going from P17 to win by 20 seconds. The Dutchman was ecstatic after the race and immediately gave his thoughts after jumping out of the car to Rubens Barrichello.

Verstappen reacts after incredible race:

Speaking after the race, Verstappen said: "My emotions today have been a rollercoaster with qualifying being really unlucky with the red flag," he began.

The Dutchman continued: "Starting in P17, I knew it would be a very tough race. We stayed out of trouble, made the right calls, we stayed calm, and we were flying. All of these things together. I mean unbelievable. To win here from so far back on the grid...yeah."

Verstappen was then asked about his move on Esteban Ocon at the restart, too. The Alpine driver finished in second place and was joined on the podium by teammate Pierre Gasly. To this, he replied, "It was very hard to pass around here with the new tarmac. I knew I had to go for it. It was always easy to front lock, but I had confidence in the brakes. Turn One is always a great corner to pass." The Dutchman concluded after the race.

The three-time world champion has extended his championship lead and now sits 62 points in front of Lando Norris with just three races to go.
