Formula 1 teams and drivers have battled cold conditions during the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend but it is expected to be slightly warmer for the Grand Prix itself on Sunday.

Daytime conditions will generally be comfortable, but the action in Vegas takes place in the evening. The sun will set around 16:30 local time, two hours before the earliest sessions on track. The good news for teams is that the chance of rain is relatively low. Max Verstappen can secure a fourth (consecutive) World Championship this weekend.

What is the weather forecast for the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix?

According to weather.com, temperatures will be around 19c when the lights go out at 10pm local time. This is a few degrees warmer than it was during qualifying. Some crew members were seen wearing woolly hats. During the two-hour race, it could cool down to 16 degrees.

Rain is not expected. The chance of rain stands at 0% for the time of racing. The wind does increase slightly during the race. The wind speed is 18 km/h at the start of the race and increases to around 22 km/h.
