How is Franco Colapinto after Las Vegas Grand Prix?
After qualifying was completed, Williams published a statement about the condition of the driver. "During Qualifying Franco sustained a significant impact of over 50G, requiring a medical check up. An impact of this magnitude is obviously significant and severe and he will need to be evaluated again tomorrow before we will know whether he is clear to race. Franco’s health is all that matters and we are glad he is otherwise okay. We will provide further updates when we can," the statement said.
Colapinto has just six races under his belt but has grasped the attention of the Formula 1 world. He suddenly replaced Logan Sargeant at Williams and has now made himself a candidate for the Red Bull seat should Christian Horner and co decide to end Sergio Perez's contract early.
