Max Verstappen has had some rough patches this year. His car has not been as dominant as it was during the 2023 season. However, at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, he still won his fourth consecutive championship.
After finishing fourth in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Verstappen ended the championship battle and officially won his fourth championship. However, the season had it's highs and lows.
Emotional rollercoaster for Verstappen
On the topic of his team's emotions, Verstappen said, "Every person in the team has their own emotions that you have to deal with. In a way it's also people management because everyone reacts a little bit different to good results or bad results. But that's something that I enjoy as well because everyone has their own character. But we all have to work together to the same end goal. I'm very proud of how everyone stuck together in those very tough races where we came out a bit lost".
Despite having a tumultuous season where he went 10 races without a win, Verstappen said the Red Bull team still supported him all the way through. "What I know is that the team doesn't give up. There are a lot of very competent people, and I really enjoy working with them.". Verstappen is happy with Red Bull and has no plans of leaving anytime soon.
