Antonelli to miss of F2 Sprint Race with sickness

Prema has decided to retire Andrea Kimi Antonelli's car for the F2 Sprint Race today. The Italian youngster is ill, and was advised not to compete.
In a last-minute announcement, Prema reported on social media. The retirement comes after Antonelli was medically advised to sit out the race, but the team are hopeful he can return on Sunday.
Unfortunately the Team has to retire Kimi Antonelli’s #4 car from today's F2 Sprint Race. Kimi has been feeling unwell and on doctor's advice, he will not race. He will rest and recover ahead of tomorrow's Feature Race!#F2 #AbuDhabiGP pic.twitter.com/OoV0hCaoha

This is Antonelli's last weekend of F2 as he will graduate to Formula 1 for the 2025 season as a Mercedes driver. He is currently 6th in the F2 championship standings.
