Have Verstappen and Russell spoken to each other yet? Max responds!

There is still a world title up for grabs at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, yet the feud between Max Verstappen and George Russell continues to be the talk of the day. Verstappen now reveals if whether or not he has spoken to the Mercedes driver.
Is a conversation between Verstappen and Russell still in the cards?
On Thursday, the annual dinner hosted by Lewis Hamilton took place and was attended by almost all Formula 1 drivers. Verstappen and Russell were also present, but the two - despite attempts by other drivers and reportedly Verstappen himself as well- did not sit next to each other.
The Dutchman had a great time at the dinner party, which Lando Norris posted a picture of on his Instagram, mentioning in the caption that Verstappen and Russell sat as far apart as possible. "We had a lot of fun, to be honest. You can't speak to everyone on the table, but the corner that I was on, we had a good time," Verstappen explained to the media present, like GPblog.
The Grand Prix Drivers Association (GPDA) meeting also went well, according to the Dutchman. There, he and Russell did sit next to each other in the year-end photo, according to chairman, Alex Wurz, at the insistence of F1 colleagues. "It was all good," Verstappen said of the driver briefing and the photo that followed.
Asked if he has spoken to the Mercedes driver or if that is still on the cards, Verstappen replied, "Well I haven't really talked to him, but honestly I also don't want to really talk about it anymore because it's not really necessary anymore. Everything has been said already. I'm just looking forward to a break."
