What is the best moment from the 2024 F1 season? 'That's the biggest!'

Stefano Domenicali is a happy man. F1's CEO has been at the helm for an exciting F1 season. Seven drivers have won at least one Grands Prix, with four teams competing for wins almost every week. at the FIA prize-giving gala in Rwanda, the Italian revealed his highlight of the season.
For many racing fans, Max Verstappen's masterful Brazilian Grand Prix performance might be the highlight of the season. For others, it could be Lewis Hamilton's first win since 2021 at home in Silverstone Or Charles Leclerc's victory at home in Monaco. McLaren fans will remember the 2024 season as the year in which they won their first world championship since 1998.
Stefano Domenicali has also seen the highlights. In his eyes, the most important thing is that the sport continues to grow. "First of all, the highlights, the main highlight is on the people following us. That has grown. We were sold out basically everywhere. A lot of people, a lot of diverse audience coming in. So that's, I would say, the biggest highlight," he explained.

On the sporting front, the Italian, of course, enjoyed it. Seven drivers won multiple Grands Prix in 2024, which the former Ferrari man clearly noticed. "I can be boring to say that because I'm sure everyone has said that, but let's say it's important. Arriving in the last race to fight for the Constructors is another highlight. And I would say these are the ones that I bring home, with the fact that you may laugh, but there are a lot of people looking forward to starting the season again," F1's CEO said.
Of course, Domenicali hopes that the 2025 season lives up to its expectations, where multiple drivers will battle for the world title. "Well, that's the objective. Of course, there is a change of regulation that is all the other elements to consider. But I remember when there was a change of this regulation, ‘21. A lot of experts will say that the car was slower at six seconds. I remember very clearly that number. And actually, you see what we are having today. So, the is, of course, to keep sustainable fuel at the centre of the technical project to make sure that the cars with the constraint that we have in terms of technology today will give the chance to the drivers to have a great racing. And I'm sure that, as always, where there is a step change at the beginning, there will be no like the end of the first cycle, but hopefully, that eventual gap that we'll have at the beginning will close as soon as possible, as quickly as possible." He concluded.
