Horner reacts to royal award: 'Very proud moment'
Christian Horner received the royal CBE title, the highest honor possible following being knighted, from King Charles at Buckingham Palace in commemoration of his achievements in Motorsport. To Channel 5, the British team principal gave his thoughts on the award.
"I represent 2,000 men and women that work for Red Bull Racing. And this award is a testament to all the hard work that the whole team does. But obviously a very proud moment to be recognised like this. The season's finished well, we've had good on-track performance, so yes, that's been positive, to defend the Drivers' World Championship," Horner said to Channel 5.

The Red Bull Chief's spouse, went on social media to congratulate the Brit following his appointment as CBE. The wife of the team boss revealed on social media that she was very proud of her husband receiving the title.
"Today I had the honour of accompanying Christian Horner as he was made a Commander of the British Empire by his Majesty, the King, at Buckinham Palace. As a family, we are all incredibly proud of everything you have achieved in your 20 years at Red Bull Racing and I know the Team feel the same. You are a leader, an innovator and a pathfinder and the distinction is a reflection of your dedication and services to motorsport. Congratulations!" she posted.
