Verstappen reacts to Perez leaving Red Bull: 'It was an absolute pleasure'

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has also reacted to the news of Sergio Perez's departure from Red Bull Racing, that was announced this Wednesday. The Dutchman thanked his now former teammate for the memories and the success they achieved together in F1.
Verstappen reacts to goodbye Perez
"It’s been an absolute pleasure driving alongside you. We’ve had some amazing moments together that I’ll always remember. Thank you, Checo!," reads Verstappen's first reaction on his social media.
Perez announced the news himself through a statement on social media. Team principal Christian Horner also released a statement thanking the driver for his years of commitment to the Austrian formation.
Slowly, more reactions arrived to the latest news from the F1 world. HRC Honda chief Koji Watanabe thanked Perez for his time Red Bull, where he drove with Honda engines. Esteban Ocon was among the first drivers to thank Perez from the rest of the F1 grid, and also wished the very best for his former teammate.
