Has the first livery of 2025 been revealed? A possible leak for this team
- Cas van de Kleut
The unveiling of cars ahead of a new Formula 1 season is always a major event, and this year it will take place during a grand event called F1 75 at the 02 Arena in London next month. However, excitement has been heightened as one team appears to have accidentally leaked the livery for their car ahead of the official reveal.
Briatore unveils new livery on Instagram
Flavio Briatore caused a stir on Wednesday when he posted a story on his Instagram that appeared to reveal Alpine’s new livery for the upcoming Formula 1 season. The Alpine adviser shared a video mentioning a marketing meeting, but the clip also showed what seemed to be the team’s updated car design. The story was quickly deleted, suggesting the reveal may have been unintentional.
The images strongly suggest a redesign for Alpine’s livery, with the car now featuring a much bluer appearance compared to last season, when pink dominated the sides. This apparent shift in design has already sparked curiosity among fans.
The big livery reveal in London
Fans will need to exercise a bit more patience for the official livery reveals this year. Traditionally, teams unveil their new cars independently, but the 2024 season will see a different approach. Formula 1 has organized a grand event, F1 75, set for February 18, where all teams will present their cars for the upcoming season.
However, Williams has opted to break from this coordinated plan, choosing to reveal their car at Silverstone with a special livery ahead of the event in London. So far, no other teams have announced similar plans, leaving fans curious about whether any surprises await before the big F1 75 showcase.
